Jessie & Nuan
Oil on Canvas
Size of 50P

I started a new job in Southern Taiwan this year, far away from home. I have to leave on Monday dawn, and can return on Friday afternoon for oil painting class in Hsin-Chu. It's a bit tougher for my wife working and taking care of kids alone. I got more free time at night on weekdays to study and paint. To thank my wife and Nuan, I painted their recent photo and put them in front of an old photo I took in San Francisco Bay 1993.

Jessie in Bride Suit
Oil on Canvas, Size of 50F
I met my wife, Jessie, in Taiwan 1997, after I finished studying in cold Chicago 1995. I never got chance to bring her back to Chicago where I've stayed for 5.5 years. I composed this painting with my love and Chicago Landscape. It means a lot to me. I will for sure bring my family to visit old friends in Chicago someday soon. I am planing to rent a car and visit the mid-west of USA. It will be another great memory to us.
ConQuerTek Tools 1:1
Oil on Canvas, Size of 8F
I took my former company tools to the studio, and simply copied the shape 1:1 onto canvas. It was fun of drawing still life without referring to the photos. It is limited with the studio lighting, since I am an amature painter with limited free time at night. Sun Lighting is much much better than artificial lighting.
It was a very tensive job to lead a small company, and I don't have the E.Q. to make it perfect. Learning lessions from the past, always.
