Half/Half No.1

Oil on Canvas
Size of 50x65 (cm)
Tired of drawing photos, so I practiced live on Agrippa's statue; and also referring to Tom Cruse's color photo. It turns out to be interesting: half-still & half-live.
I am thinking to make it into another series of paintings too, if I can borrow some statues.
It took me about 6 Friday nights to finish this one. I enjoyed it very much.
Wikipedia: "Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa (c. 63 BC12 BC) was a Roman statesman and general. He was a close friend, son-in-law, lieutenant and minister to Octavian, the future emperor Caesar Augustus. He was responsible for most of Octavian’s military triumphs, most notably winning the naval Battle of Actium against the forces of Mark Antony and Cleopatra VII of Egypt."
