It was copied from my fuzzy photo, taken in Brookfield Zoo in Chicago, 1995. I used a 600-mm mirror lens in a snowy day, so the shot was shakey, yet I could not throw this piece of slides away for its composition.
I throwed a snow ball in front of the tiger, and the tiger swept the ball with its right palm, and then looked up to search the piture, me with the camera waiting.
I am glad that I can complete it into a focused painting to memorize this composition.

This is my little daughter with the bottle in her hand. She is adorable at the age of 2. The reason I started to do oil-paintings, because I wish to leave something good in this short life, besides my DNA in my daughters. I am age of 40, and wish I will have time to make more paintings.

Oil on Canvas, Size of 10F
This is my second painting for my elder daughter, Nuan. She has lovely dimples on her cheeks when she smiles. She is age of 6 now. I wish I have captured her lovely smile, and I will continue to take my daughters to be my painting model throughout their growths.

Again, I love to copy from my own photos, maybe because it means something to me. The moon wasn't there, and I made it up during painting process. It was a country site near Sacramento, CA. The far site is a windmill power plant.

This is a painting I copied from my old slides. It was taken from Michaelangelo's sculpture in Florence. It was a great shot already, and I am learning the skill of oil painting.
It was a white and cold Marble sculpture, but I painted it into a warm tone with Red, Orange, and Yellow White.

I love to draw and paint since I was little, but the arts is only my hobby. I am an amature.
3 years ago, I finally got into Friday Night session on Oil Painting class with a professional painter as teacher, Mr. Ku Her-Chung 顧何忠。 It is a lovely journey so far.

Einstein is always my favorite subject. I have done it with pensil and charcoal. This was my first practice on oil painting. I love the richness of the oil paints and its durability. This one is not so great yet, and I have to continue to paint to improve.
